- Where is it located?
Campsite la Chapelle Saint Claude is located in Haute-Savoie, in Angon, approximately 1 km from the centre of Talloires via the road or the cycle path.
We are located 13 km away from Annecy, 50 km from Geneva and its international airport, and approximately 80 km from Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc.

– From Annecy : Follow the D909a towards Veyrier-du-Lac, Menthon-Saint-Bernard, and Talloires. The campsite is located on your right, 1 km after crossing the village of Talloires
– From Albertville : follow the direction of Ugine, Doussard, and then Talloires. You’ll find the campsite in Angon, on your left, 1 km before the village of Talloires.
– From Annecy train station : Bus line from Annecy to Angon with Voyages Crolard. The bus stop is 100 meters away from the campsite.
Booking at Campsite La Chapelle Saint Claude
- How to make a reservation?
You can proceed to your reservation directly through our website by clicking on the “Book online” tab. You can also contact us on the phone (0033 450 60 36 97) to check availability and make a reservation. In order to secure your reservation, a deposit of 25 % of the price of your stay + reservation fees will be requested at the time of the booking.
- When is the balance of my stay due?
For mobile homes rentals, the balance of your stay must be paid maximum 30 days prior to your arrival. For any booking request made less than 30 days before the date of arrival, the payment of the total balance will be requested at time of the booking. As soon as we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation by email.
For tent, caravan and camper pitches, the balance of your stay must be paid the day of your arrival at the campsite.
- What is your cancellation policy?
At the time of booking, a deposit of 25% of your stay, excluding booking fees, will be required.
All cancellations must be notified by post or e-mail. In case of cancellation, whatever the cause is, no refund will be possible if you have not taken out the cancellation insurance.
- How can I take out the cancellation insurance?
Cancellation insurance is offered at the time of booking.

- At what time can we check-in?
For rentals, you can arrive between 4pm and 7pm in July and August, and from 3pm to 6pm in low season.
For pitches, you can arrive between pm and 7pm in July and August, and from 3pm to 6pm in low season.
- Is a deposit required for the mobile home I have rented?
Yes, a deposit of €250 will be requested when you check in, in order to cover any damage in your mobile home. A second deposit of €150 will be requested to cover potential cleaning fees.
These deposits will be given back to you after your departure, and after the check-out inventory.

We accept payment by cash, bank card (except American Express) and bank transfer.

- Do you rent cabins for 1 night?
In low season, mobile homes can be booked for a minimum of 2 nights, except for Ascension and Pentecote weekends.
In the high season, from mid-June to mid-September, our cabins are available from minimum 1 week, from Saturday to Saturday.
- Do you allow pets in your cabins?
For hygienic and allergic purposes, we do not allow pets inside our cabins.
Staying at Campsite La Chapelle Saint Claude
- What type of power outlets do you use in the campsite?
Camping pitches are equipped with European ‘campsite-specific’ power outlets. You will need a special adapter, as shown in the image below, as well as extension cables to have electricity on your pitch. We have adapters for sale at the reception.
- Do you have WiFi?
It is be possible to buy a personal Wi-Fi code to connect to your own devices. Due to the low bandwidth, streaming will not be possible.
- Where are the nearest shops located?
In July and August, we offer a bread delivery service at the reception of the campsite, and the snack-bar is open.
You will also find several restaurants around the campsite, such as a pizzeria, a snack-bar, or a gourmet restaurant right by the lake.
In the village of Talloires, 1 km from the campsite, you will find a 8à8 minimarket, a bakery, a tobacco store as well as a doctor’s office.
Bigger supermarkets such as Carrefour Market, Intermarché and LIDL are located in Faverges, approximately 13 km from the campsite.
- Are we allowed to have a BBQ in the campsite?
Charcoal and gas barbecues are allowed in our campsite. However, electric barbecues are not.
- Can I do my laundry at the campsite?
Yes, our campsite is equipped with two washing machines (washing liquid included) and a dryer in the camping area, by the facilities.
- Is it possible to swim, fish and practice nautical activities in the lake?
The campsite has its own private grassy beach, with direct access to the lake via two stairs.
In July and August, the temperature of lake varies from 20°C to 24°C so swimming in the lake is possible and highly recommended.
Lake Annecy is also the perfect spot for waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking… You can enjoy all these activities nearby the campsite.
Fishing in the lake is allowed but requires a specific permit (available for sale in Faverges).
